The education policy and management program at Harvard university is to produce graduates who not only understand the challenges and strengths of current public education policy, but who are prepared to lead the initiatives and organizations that will create twenty first century systems of education that work for students. Most American education needs reform-minded, strong, idealistic leaders who are committed to excellence and equity in our schools. In the education policy and management program, we have to join an experienced educators and system-level leaders in federal and state government, policy think tanks, national nonprofits and school districts nationwide. Through a good curriculum that balances management, policy and research, we have dive deeply into issues likes; the racial and economic achievement gap, the role of charter schools in education reform, leadership in social-change organizations , entrepreneurship in education, the use of data to improve teaching and learning. As an education policy and management master’s student, who are not only have access to the faculty and resources, but also can take classes at all Harvard schools. It includes the Harvard Kennedy School and the Harvard Business School.
